Stunning Conversion: From an Old Cinema to a Storefront/Design Studio/Skate Park - Milan, Italy
By Twisted Sifter on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 filed under PROPERTIES, PLACES & STRUCTURES.This is an awesome conversion by Studio Metrico, based in Milan, Italy. The task from Comvert was simple: find and design a space that could house their flagship storefront, design studio, office, warehouse and of course… skate bowl.

Did I forget to mention the Bastard Bowl is suspended? Six meters above the warehouse no less! The entire space is approximately 1,400 square meters ( or 15,000 sq ft.) and just oozes coolness. Be sure to check out the entire article here. There’s some great photos and more detail on the space and the build process.
