Acclaimed street artist Blu, the man responsible for last year’s viral hit MUTO (see video below) is back with his latest installment, COMBO! This time he has brought his friend and fellow artist David Ellis into the mix and the results are exceptional. Check it out and tell us your impressions!

*Please note the actual video is only 4 minutes in length and just happens to loop twice in this particular upload*

In case you haven’t seen the original video, which we originally posted here. Watch the video below. Which do you prefer?

COMBO was completed for the 2009 Fame Festival which takes place in the tiny town of Grottaglie, Italy. The city is famous for its ancient ceramics tradition and there is an entire area exclusively dealing with ceramics production.

FAME refers to the difference in meaning of the word between Italian and English. In Italian FAME means hunger, while in English, FAME is understood as honour, success and status. The concept of the festival is to host artists and offer them the cooperation of the local artisans for the production of pottery works and limited edition prints. Visiting artists will also have access to several walls to paint around the city, upgrading areas which are aesthetically ‘challenged’.

The festival is entirely financed and curated by Studiocromie without any kind of sponsorship from external sources.
