This Used to be a Fire Hall and Its Doors are Made from Old Fire Hose

How cool is this? A former fire hall’s doors are made from old fire hose and even the nozzle was incorporated! Located in Brussels, Belgium (62, place du jeu Balle) the space is now home to a restaurant called Pin Pon.

For those curious, the pattern is apparently known as an ‘8 mad weave’ (3 over, 3 under). Below you can see some photos of the door as well as an embedded Google Map street view.
