An unexpected electrical issue caused a life-size animatronic T-Rex to burst into flames at the Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience in Cañon City, Colorado.

There were no reported injuries when the 24-ft tall T-Rex burst into flames. The life-size replica completely burned down to its metal frame in 10 short minutes. First opened in 2016, the park features 16 life-size dinosaurs with a 17th, a Stegosaurus (along with a replacement T-Rex), scheduled to open this summer.

Park owner Zach Reynolds was on hand to not only witness the unfortunate event but documented it as well in the grisly photos and videos below.
