Laso Schaller Sets World Record for Cliff Jumping—at 58.8 Meters (193 ft)

58.8 meters (193 ft). That’s the height 27-year-old Laso Schaller leaped from to set a new world record in cliff jumping.

The daring feat was accomplished at Cascata del Salto, which is located in the Italian-speaking Ticino area of Switzerland. The area features over 150 descendible canyons with countless waterfalls but Cascata del Salto is the grandaddy of them all.
