Firefighter Teaches Basics of Fire Behaviour Using Burning Doll House

 

Firefighter Alan Fitzpatrick of the Salem Fire Department in Oregon teaches fire behavior basics to recruits using a giant, burning doll house he built.

Fitzpatrick, an 11-year veteran of the Salem Fire Department, tells the Statesman Journal that he has created a handful of doll houses to train new recruits and that each house takes about 30 minutes to fully burn.
