Even after its most extensive write-up to date, Magic Leap remains an enigma. The secretive tech company has raised a staggering $1.4 billion in funding, valuing the startup at $4.5 billion.

While its unclear exactly how the company’s AR/VR tech works, the demo videos—which they claim are shot ‘entirely through Magic Leap technology and contain no additional special effects or compositing’—are beyond impressive.
