I don’t know when it happened but it did. I’m not completely sure why, but I have an idea. What am I rambling about? The current state of news coverage. Way back when, it used to be about the actual event, the focal point was clear and the message was simple: it’s all about the story. Fast forward to the present and the picture is slightly out of focus. Now it’s all about the analysis. You have your panel of experts, exclusive but useless interviews, conjecture for days and an infographic or two (see above/below). Don’t agree? Please feel free to text, twitter, or call and tell us why. Be sure to go online and join our live (sponsored) video chat happening……now!

This past Monday (July 20th) marked the 40th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 mission, the first time we set foot on the Moon. Let’s watch and reminisce shall we?

That was awesome-tastic! Now let’s see that same mission if it were to happen today…

Suck it China!
