RIDERS ON THE STORM

The photographer is unknown, but this was shot at Teahupo’o (pronounced te-ha-oo-po). A world-renowned surfing location off the south-west coast of Tahiti, in the southern Pacific Ocean. It is known for its heavy and glassy waves, often reaching 2 to 3 m (7 to 10 ft) or higher. It is also the site of the annual Billabong Pro Tahiti surf competition and part of the World Championship Tour (WCT). (Source: Wikipedia)
