The Shaft House by architect Reza Aliabadi, is a gorgeous contemporary home located in Toronto, Canada. Restricted to a width of 20 feet (6 meters), Reza has designed a unique, detached oasis that centers around a central ‘shaft’ of natural light.
At 2.5 stories and 1,400 square feet of interior space (130 sq. m), the Shaft House also features 3 washrooms, a rooftop terrace and cozy backyard. Listed last fall at $699,000 (Cdn), this gem is suitable for an individual or couple, but not very functional for a family.
