OVERLOOKING A FOGGY TORONTO
FROM THE CN TOWER

Posted earlier this week to the CN Tower Facebook page, we see a dramatic view of a fog that rolled through Toronto on March 17, 2012. At 553.33 meters tall (1,815.4 ft), the CN Tower became the world’s tallest free-standing structure when it was completed in 1976. It held the record for 34-years until it was eclipsed by the Burj Khalifa and Canton Tower. However, it still remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere. A signature icon of the Toronto skyline, it provides stunning views of the beautiful city below; even when the fog rolls through!
