Four Iconic Photos Turned Into ‘Selfies’

If you’re a part of any major social network you’ve undoubtedly come across a selfie; an arm’s length self-portrait that has become ubiquitous in the smart phone era (much like its predecessor, the mirror shot self-portrait).

In a recent print campaign for South-African based newspaper, Cape Times, advertising agency Lowe Cape Town imagined what some of history’s most famous photos would look like as self-portraits. The tagline for the campaign is: “You can’t get any closer to the news. Know all about it”
