Aggstein Castle is a ruined castle situated on the right bank of the Danube in Wachau, Austria. The castle dates back to the 12th century and is perched about 300 meters (980 ft) above the Danube.

On November 30, 1973 the castle and surrounding landscape was featured as a postage stamp by the Austrian Postal Service.
