A Tour of the French Alps with Lukas Furlan

Photographer Lukas Furlan recently spent a few days hiking through the French Alps and shared an amazing series of photos from his travels on Behance.

The Alps are the highest and most extensive mountain range system that lies entirely in Europe, stretching approximately 1,200 kilometres (750 mi) across eight Alpine countries: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Slovenia and Switzerland. [source]

At 4,808 meters (15.774 ft), Mont Blanc, on the French-Italian border, is the highest mountain in the entire Alps, and the highest mountain in western Europe. [source]
