Since 1941, the Arkansas School for the Deaf’s mascot and team name has been ‘The Leopards’. That’s right, the Deaf Leopards.

So when word got out that Def Leppard—who are currently on tour with REO Speedwagon and Tesla—would be coming through Little Rock, Arkansas, a petition was created to have the band meet some of the students.

1,500 signatures later and students from the school got to meet the legendary rockers backstage at the May 11 concert and they even brought a replica scoreboard! The band later tweeted out the photo above.

For those interested, you can find a full list of upcoming tour dates at Def Leppard’s official site.
