18 High-Speed Photographs of Ink Dropped Into Water

Artist and commercial photographer Alberto Seveso (featured previously here and here) recently shared a series of unused shots from recent projects.

The artist has become well-known for his incredible high-speed photographs of ink dropped into water. At normal speed the ink disperses quite quickly, but with a high-speed camera Seveso is able to capture amazing textures and shapes that only exist for fractions of a second. The beautiful plumes are fascinating to study.
