Iceland never ceases to amaze with its incredible natural beauty. Here we a stunning aurora reflected in the waters of the Jokulsarlon glacier lake below.
The large glacial lake is located in southeast Iceland on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. Jökulsárlón is a popular tourist destination and is considered one of the ‘natural wonders’ of Iceland, even appearing on a commemorative postage stamp in 1991.
Jökulsárlón has been a setting for four Hollywood movies: A View to a Kill, Die Another Day, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Batman Begins, as well as the reality TV series, The Amazing Race. [source]
