Neighbor’s Friend Keeps Taking Their Parking Spot Without Permission, So They Decided To Put Her On Notice

Source: Reddit/AITA/Canva

Do you know what’s more annoying than neighbors who don’t respect your property?

It’s the neighbor’s guests who do not respect your property either.

So, if you were in OP’s shoes, what would you have done with this neighbor’s friend who keeps stealing your parking spot?

Read and find out how they dealt with it.

AITA for telling (probably) my neighbor’s friend to not park in our parking spot

When we (my husband and I) moved in to our apartment building, we get one parking spot reserved (it’s private parking).

For now we don’t have a car, but my in-laws and my husband’s friends sometimes come visit with their cars, and use our parking.

Somebody has been taking OP’s parking spot.

These past two/three weeks, there’s a car using our spot.

We don’t know who it is, but it might be our neighbor’s girlfriend.

We’re ok if it’s only for some hours, but she parked there the whole night.

Sometimes, for days.

So she put her on notice!

I got upset, so I put a paper on her car telling her not to park because sometimes (especially weekends), we use the parking spot.

My husband said I shouldn’t be upset because on weekdays we don’t use it, but it’s just getting on my nerves (probably pregnancy hormones, but idk).

What do you think? AITA? ☹️

Now, let’s see how other Reddit users reacted to this story.

This user said the neighbors should have asked for permission.

This one also agrees with OP.

This is exactly what it is.

This one suggested making arrangements instead.

We don’t want to resort to towing, do we?

It’s YOUR parking spot. They should at least have the decency to ask.
