AITA For Bringing my Mans

I (24F) want my friend to meet my boyfriend (23M) for the first time.

My friend and I have been kind of on and off.

Her birthday is coming up. I was thinking of visiting her.

I also want her to meet my boyfriend for the first time.

This woman asked her friend if she and her boyfriend could stay in her apartment.

We live about three hours away.

So we would need to stay with her in her 1B1Bd.

She was a little hesitant when I asked if my boyfriend and I could stay in her apartment for two nights before her birthday.

Her other friend is also coming for her birthday and she would need to stay in the apartment as well.

Her friend was a little hesitant to agree.

When I asked her if this was okay, she was a little hesitant.

She made a big deal out of it because she would be at work for the two days.

We would be hanging out at the apartment while she was gone.

I do not really see the big deal, but she was not happy with me.

Am I the jerk or is she just overreacting?
