Bullies can be just awful, especially while in school.
What would you do if a bully had gotten you in trouble for swearing even though you didn’t do it, but you had to serve a detention anyway?
That is what happened to the kid in this story, so when he happened to find the bully’s locker combination, he knew he had to take revenge. Over the course of time, he stole multiple different things until the bully stopped using his locker entirely.
While stealing is certainly wrong, the bully definitely deserved it. Read through the full story here and see if you agree.
Getting even with a Middle School Bully
I got picked on a lot in 6th grade when I started Middle School.
Every child is unique.
My parents were freshly divorced, I was in a new town, so I didn’t know anyone, and, I was a bit awkward (ADHD). That said, I was actually a pretty good kid from an adult’s perspective. I didn’t swear, nor look at porn, nor did I use drugs. I did, however, get in trouble at school from time to time.
On one occasion, this big kid named Eric and his much shorter friend were in the hallway with me when no one else was around. He came up to me and said… “Hey man!, stop swearing at me!” his buddy laughed.
What kind of bullying is this?
I didn’t understand, I hadn’t said so much as a word to him. Ever. “Huh”? He went right back at it much louder, “You’re swearing at me!!!” I didn’t get it. Was he an idiot? I hadn’t said anything, let alone swore. I moved on with my day and ignored him.
The next day, I got called to the Vice Principal’s office for swearing. Oh, brother. I did my best to make my case, but they called my Mom.
Getting in trouble for something you didn’t do is the worst.
She vouched for me. “I’ve never heard my boy utter a swear word in his entire life,” my mother protested.
“You need to take off the rose-colored glasses” was the reply. I had two witnesses against me. What is a kid to do? They gave me detention. It felt so unfair!, I had been in trouble before but that’s when I deserved it! I was set up!
Things are falling into place.
Revenge is difficult to get on a kid that’s a foot taller and twice your weight. It wasn’t immediately obvious to me how to get back at him, but the desire to do so burned in me. It was so unfair! I didn’t do anything! That jerk! I was reminded of that every time I saw him. He’d smirk at me.
An opportunity came along later that Semester. I had forgotten my locker combo, so the office secretary slid the book with all the combos over and told me to look it up. I couldn’t believe it. I still can’t. She must’ve been busy or something. I got my combo AND Eric’s.
He’d better be careful with what he is doing.
Eric’s books and backpack went missing shortly after. At the time, they were about $40 each to replace. He didn’t know how it happened, so he wasn’t prepared for my second raid a month or so later.
I took his palm pilot and kept it. I didn’t hear him complain about anything missing, but he did appear to be more anxious and less sure of himself.
This kid must have been freaking out over everything that went missing.
Eventually, I think he stopped using his locker altogether, but not before he replaced his books at least twice.
After awhile I didn’t see him in my hallway much anymore. In retrospect, he probably got a locker in a different area.
The kid likely got in trouble for ‘losing’ so many things because of this. You almost feel bad for him, but not really since he was a bully.

The kids were in 6th grade; this seems extreme.
He must have been very sneaky.
Here is another way to get back at him.

This commenter loved his revenge.
Is it really wrong to steal from a bully to get revenge? Maybe it is, but it would be hard to blame this kid, that’s for sure.
The one bad thing about this story is that the bully didn’t really learn anything from it.
