I’m not able to predict the future, but I have a feeling that the guy who wrote the story you’re about to read is going to find himself in the dog house for a little while…
Why?
Well, let’s just say that his girlfriend wasn’t too happy about the decision he made when she was sick at home…and he never showed up.
Read on and see what you think!
AITA for not going to take care of my girlfriend due to car issues but still running errands?
“My girlfriend lives in the city and I live maybe 30 miles away in the suburbs.
Last week when I had my car parked outside of her place someone busted my sunroof to break into my car and try to steal it. Luckily they weren’t successful but now I’m driving around with adhesive film on top of my car until I can get it repaired.
He tried to reason with her…
My girlfriend was sick yesterday and as much as I wanted to go to the city to take care of her, I let her know that I didn’t feel safe driving the car on the highway with just the film on top of my car.
Also feared that leaving it on the street like that would make me a target for someone to bust into my car again.
So instead I decided to take care of some errands locally, including trying to find some new swim trunks for her birthday celebration at the beach this weekend.
That didn’t go over very well…
I sent her some photos while shopping to get her opinion. Seems that she’s now upset that I drove my car locally but wasn’t able to drive to see her.
AITA?”
