For a little context, I am 23F, and my mother is 49F.

We have had a super rocky relationship after she kicked me out at 17 after graduating HS.

We went off and on contact for over the last 5 years.

In that span, I live with my husband and our two daughters, both under 3.

This woman’s mother got kicked out of her apartment for not paying rent.

Earlier this month, my mother informed me she had been fired from both her jobs, one after another.

She recently got evicted due to not paying rent.

I have helped her with a little money for public transport and tried to help her find a job.

I have also offered shelter resources in our community.

But she made it a point to bring up several times for her to stay with me in my apartment.

To which I have avoided because she has shown little respect for my fiancé in the past.

She felt uncomfortable letting her mom stay with her and her family.

She still has resentment towards him for no reason since we were both teens.

I do have the space for her to stay with us.
