It’s bad enough to not like your job, but if you also don’t like your coworkers…
Well, that just makes it a double-whammy, now doesn’t it?
And, when that happens, it REALLY sucks.
Trust me on this one, folks…
In today’s story, an office worker feels trapped, and he didn’t hold back in regard to how he feels about his job or the people he works with every day.
Yuck!
Let’s take a look…
Feeling stupid for late realization.
“I’m 27, trapped in office work because of my degree.
I wish I had realized earlier that salary jobs aren’t really the glory of life.
You are just stuck with the nastiest of the nastiest.
Yikes…this doesn’t sound good…
Married couples who bring their drama to work and enable one another.
Fifty year old coworkers having affairs.
Nepo babies who watch TikTok all day while you get yelled at for not being productive enough.
Spineless managers who can turn on you like a dime.
Legions of downtrodden ‘hourlies’ who drag you down like an anchor if you are stupid enough to try to help them.
It’s a vicious cycle…
Managers who do absolutely no work to improve themselves, long for power, and inflict their issues on the innocent people forced to be around them.
It is so hard to accept the beatdowns.
You think you’ve finally learned to accept the rigid hierarchy. Then there is a slight glimmer of hope that you’ve outsmarted it only to get burned yet again.
Even with all my early opportunities and success in life I’m just seeing a system that has been designed to cage me. It feels like I’ll never learn to traverse this successfully with humility to get to where I want to go.
He’s really worried about this…
Currently I’m terrified that my life is going to crash down around my ears next week, but I’m also so exhausted I can’t even care.
Maybe tomorrow when I wake up I’ll have whatever sort of attitude or spark I need to have.
Or hopefully I won’t so it is easier to drink pitchers of sugar honey iced tea.”

And this individual spoke up.
This sounds rough, there’s no denying it!
But the good news is that he’s young and he’ll probably be able to find something else eventually.
But still, when you’re stuck in it, it feels like you’re never gonna get out…
Corporate office jobs aren’t for everyone…
