Cemetery Salesman Wouldn’t Stop Calling A Man, So He Pretended To Want A Plot And Asked If He Could Lie Down In It

Quiet mornings can be a luxury in some neighborhoods.

In this story, a woman often gets woken up by parents of school children who are waiting for the bus outside her house early in the morning.

They often gather and stand outside her window, talking so loudly to each other.

She was sick one day and couldn’t take all the noise anymore, so she confronted them through her bedroom window.

Uh oh! That sounds really annoying. Read the full story below to find out more.

Bus Stop Blues

I have lived in my apartment complex for five years.

I am the first apartment in the complex, which is very convenient and has caused me minimal issues.

Every year, the sound of kids and school buses starts.

I hear some noise, but never considered it an issue because kids go to school.

The bus stop is about 20 yards from my apartment.

This woman noticed that parents of children going to school have become louder this time.

However, this year it is extremely noisy, and it’s not the kids, it’s the parents.

The buses start running at 6:30 am to 8 am. These parents are so loud.

And instead of walking all the way down to the bus stop with their kids, several of them stand on the sidewalk outside my bedroom window talking.

These are all men.

There is also one woman who stands in the grass outside my window, sometimes talking on speaker phone.

She repeatedly encourages her dog to “go potty, Piper!”

She was sick and got irritated by all the noise.

I have been sick with the flu.

This morning, the play by plays of the weekend football were coming through my windows and blackout curtains.

I could hear everything they were saying.

I felt like ESPN was outside my window.

It is out of my character, but I do get mean when I’m sick.

So I opened my window and yelled, “Everything okay out there, fellows? I was worried because of all the yelling.”

The parents tried to quiet down for a bit, but continued talking to each other.

They did quiet down a bit after that, but I could still hear every detail of the game.

I have a problem with them not being down at the bus stop with their kids.

There are about six other parents down there, but still, the speed limit on the main road is 45 mph.

It would only take a second for the worst.

Now, she’s thinking about making a complaint about all the noise.

6:30 is still quiet hours.

I get up for work at 8 am, and ever since school started, this has been waking me up.

I don’t know if this is worth a complaint. I’m afraid it will only cause retaliation and get worse.

I try hard to keep the peace and ignore a lot of stuff other people complain about constantly.

Just looking for input.

Yikes! I can’t imagine being sick and having to listen to all that noise.

I feel bad for OP. She should be able to relax and be comfortable in her own home, and not struggle with the neighborhood chatter every morning.

A polite complaint about the early-morning noise seems understandable.

Let’s read the responses of other people to this story.

Lol. Here’s a petty revenge idea.

Parents are annoying, says this one.

Here’s another suggestion.

Finally, here’s an interesting fact.

Apparently, many parents are capable of being sports commentators early in the morning. Lol.
