Getting more than two people to live together and sign a lease can be a headache.

Heck, sometimes even getting TWO people to do that can be a struggle.

And the more doesn’t always equal the merrier.

In today’s story, a woman opened explained that she’s stressed out about the lease because one of her potential roommates backed out at the last minute.

“I’m kind of stressing out.

We had a lease with 4 people and 3 guarantors.

We all signed besides the one person without a guarantor, and all the guarantors signed with a notary.

How rude!

The last person decided they don’t want to move out at the literal last minute AFTER everyone signed and paid their share of the deposit and full first month’s rent.

I guess my question is what’s going to happen?

Will we still get the place?

Do we have to find a new person to sign with us before anything can move forward?

Now what…?

Not going to complain about all the prior arrangements we made before this but I learned my lesson, I guess.

The 3 of us left WANT this apartment badly and obviously put down everything.

Are we even going to get that back?
