I’m subletting a room and the tenant drops by every week or so searching for stuff.

“I’m subletting a room for 3 months in a shared house and the tenant of the room is nice, but she keeps asking to drop by searching for stuff.

At the beginning it was not a problem, but she keeps asking and within already one month of the lease she must have passed by between 4 or 5 times and wants to talk, etc…

It feels now a bit annoying and intrusive to have a person come in my room every now and then because I expected her to disappear for 3 months like a normal person subletting her place.

This would make anyone uncomfortable…

I even suspect she passed by the other day because some paperwork was on my table after I left for the weekend and it was not mine.

I’m trying to be a bit colder for her to understand and say I have work, I‘m busy, in hopes she gets it and get all the stuffs she needs once for all.

Is there an indirect way maybe more efficient I can make her understand she owes me space?”
