Collectors will tell you that keeping things in mint condition is a lifestyle, but careless roommates will tell you it’s just paper.

The following story is about a dedicated K-pop fan who slept in the living room and kept her albums on a table there, hoping to resell them someday.

Things got messy when her roommate decided to move her things around without permission, leaving a dent behind on one of her prized albums.

Some people really did treat other people’s belongings like a countertop — and this collector wasn’t standing for it.

Frustrated

Just a small, unimportant rant. I collect K-pop albums.

I keep them in mint condition in case I ever want to sell them.

Her living arrangement is a bit unconventional.

I have my aespa album set on the table. I don’t have a room, so I sleep in the living room, and there is this table with my stuff on it.

Again, my album is on that table. She was at her desk, which was close to that table. Her computer usually stays on that desk and it never moves.

That’s when it happened.

But she decided to move my stuff around, and that included her putting her computer on my album… denting it… She could’ve left her computer on her desk, but she decided to put it on my album and dent it.

And now I get home from work. My computer was on the kitchen table before I left.

She noticed something infuriating.

I get back and my computer was on the arm of the couch, and her used, still moist spoon was sitting on my computer… on my stickers that I got out of that same aespa album that she dented… mind you…

We have nearly 150 paper plates because her dad sells paper plates and plastic silverware… but apparently my computer was her plate for the night…

I was so irritated when I saw that wet spoon on my stickers and messing them up.

How frustrating.

What did Reddit have to say?

There’s an important lesson to be learned here.

Maybe this whole living arrangement needs to be reevaluated.

Some people confuse “I live here too” with “I’ll do whatever I want,” and this roommate is a textbook case.

The living room was arguably not the best place to keep valuable items, but judging by the story, this arrangment is the best this collector has right now.

Her roommate’s behavior just showed her roomie really didn’t respect her or her things. And that isn’t an easy thing to forget.
