I’m gonna go on the record RIGHT NOW and admit that I don’t understand why people do it…

I’m talking about why people have apps like Life 360 on their phones!

I guess it makes sense if you have kids and you want to see where they are, but I don’t see why couples need to have it to keep an eye on each other…

It’s weird!

But, to each their own, I guess…

In today’s story, a woman talked about why her boyfriend got upset with her after her phone died and he didn’t know where she was.

AITA for for not telling people where I am going?

“I (28F), had gotten out of an 8 year relationship with my baby’s father (29M) about 3 years ago.

When I was with him I had to tell him my every single move.

This must’ve been very liberating!

After we broke up, I kind of got it into my head that now I don’t have to worry about texting every single moment, everywhere I’m going and what I’m doing.

Since then I have a bad habit of just not telling people if I’m leaving or where I am going. One time I accidentally spent 3 hours in Michaels just shopping around.

On the drive there my phone died. I was like, it doesn’t matter because I don’t have to report to no one.

Turns out Life360 stopped updating my location in the middle of the highway.

My boyfriend thought that my child and I were dead and him and my family went to drive around to look for my car. We live about 20 minutes away from the city.

At the time I thought they were being so overdramatic.

But now I’m starting to wonder…AITA?”
