A New Year’s Cruise carrying over 4,000 passengers was caught in a violent winter storm on the way back from the Bahamas and it wreaked havoc on the ship.
The cruise ship, Norwegian Breakaway, was scrambling to return to port in Manhattan, as awaiting passengers were eager to begin their own 14-day cruise, set to begin as soon as the ship returned.
All passengers and crew eventually arrived to port safely in the New York City harbour, but not before Winter Storm Grayson had its way.
