In a historic first, SpaceX successfully used 3 Falcon 9 boosters (Falcon Heavy) to launch the Arabsat-6A communications satellite and then guided the 3 rocket boosters back to Earth. Two of the rockets landed on the ground in Florida, while the 3rd landed on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
This marked SpaceX’s first successful Falcon Heavy commercial launch, more than a year after its demo mission launched a cherry-red Tesla and crash-test dummy nicknamed Starman into space.
