New York City’s Plans to Defend Itself From Rising Sea Levels

By 2050, U.S. coastlines are expected to rise by one foot, making New York City, with its low-lying geography and 600 miles of coastline, especially vulnerable to such climate change.

The city is executing plans, both traditional and unique, to protect itself from this imminent threat.
