This past weekend, videographer Miguel Ángel captured a heart-stopping moment of two passenger planes narrowly avoiding a catastrophic collision at Barcelona’s El Prat Airport. An UTair Boeing 767-300 (VQ-BSX) incoming from Moscow was about to land just as an Aerolíneas Argentinas Airbus A340-300 (LV-FPV) was taxiing across the runway.
The quick-thinking pilot of the UTair jet aborted the landing at the last moment, safely landing the plane after circling around.
