Seed Shakers Dress as Bees to Encourage Urban Gardening

YouTube video player

Meet urban seed shakers Phoenix and Shalaco, who dress as bees and spread native wildflower seeds to the bare ground they find in San Francisco. Wildflowers attract bees and other insects that are essential for our food supply.

Seeds aren’t the only things they’re shaking up. The mission of these Guerilla gardeners is to democratize gardening, and empower anyone and everyone to become involved in the ecosystem.
