Seen here is the breathtaking Playa de Papagayo (Papagayo Beach) on Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands in Spain.
Hidden away in the Los Ajaches Nature Reserve, the crescent-shaped beach is said by many to be the most beautiful on Lanzarote. It’s surrounding natural rock formation shelters the beach from the wind and also makes for calm and tranquil waters. It is roughly a 15 minute drive from Playa Blanca, a popular resort in the area.
The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago located just off the southern coast of Morocco, 100 kilometres (62 miles) west of its southern border. The islands constitute one of Spain’s 17 autonomous communities and are among the outermost regions (OMR) of the European Union proper. [source]
