Japanese artist Gaku has been carving incredibly intricate (and delicate!) patterns into various fruits and vegetables and sharing the results on Instagram where he has amassed over 15,000 followers.
According to Spoon & Tamago, Japan has a rich tradition of food carving called mukimono.
Below you will find a small gallery of my personal favourites, but be sure to check out Gaku on Instagram for many more!
