Some neighbors bring over banana bread when they move in. Others bring cement, unleashed dogs, and a personality that makes you question the competence of your local law enforcement.

One family had lived in their village their entire lives when a new couple moved in next door and immediately started causing problems: blocked drains, dumped rubbish, dogs relieving themselves on private property.

Complaints went nowhere, officials shrugged, and the harassment just kept escalating. But every attempt to address it directly only made things worse.

The family found themselves dealing with someone who seemed to treat conflict as a hobby rather than a problem to solve.

My neighbors are harassing us

So me and my family have been living in my village since birth. My so called neighbors have moved in since February 2025 and are down right harassing us since day 1. They are the NFH.

This resident describes all the neighbor’s awful antics.

The woman throwing all the floor cleaning water, blocking our drain with mud and cement, blocking the entry.

They have done it all.

But no authorities seem interested in taking action on this.

We have complained literally everywhere, but is it a shocker that everyone is corrupt and will take no action whatsoever?

They further describe the neighbors.

So 2 people live in the house opposite me. The male, 67 y/o, is a con artist, and his partner, who is a 60 y/o psycho. The con artist has left his first wife to live with this psycho.

The most disturbing part is that the psycho keeps troubling us even after we have confronted her. She says we can ask her nicely. She never stops.

She cleans her garden, throws rubbish in our plot. Their dogs have no leash and use the bathroom in our plot.

Then the neighbors stir up even more trouble.

First they were scared that we would find out about their relationship, and she would fire bad words at my mother for no reason. We called police on her for that.

She’s so manipulative, she’s telling the police officer if we have so much problem with the badmouthing we should confront her then and there. We are busy people and do not have time to deal with hooligans who have too much time at their hands and go around fighting others.

It’s harder to argue with cold, hard proof.

Even if the neighbors can’t be evicted, they still deserve some kind of punishment.

What makes this situation so frustrating isn’t just the behavior itself, it’s how completely unbothered the people responsible for it seem to be.

Blocking a drain with cement, letting dogs roam onto someone else’s property, dumping garden waste over a fence, none of that reads as an accident, it reads as someone who knows there won’t be consequences for their actions.

The fact that local officials brushed off repeated complaints only reinforces that this family was dealing with a problem nobody else wanted to solve for them. Manipulative people count on their targets staying quiet, and this family didn’t.

Peace and quiet shouldn’t require this much effort to defend.
