Folks, I’m not gonna beat around the bush

This is creepy!

And no one should have to deal with a neighbor who makes them feel this way.

The woman who wrote this story is feeling threatened because her neighbor is completely unhinged…and it sounds like things are escalating.

How should she handle this guy?

Read on and see what you think about her situation.

Older Neighbor Tries to Threaten Me Because I Ignore Him.

“I’m a younger woman who lives alone, I have an older neighbor who has been a problem since the second I stepped out of my car to unload my things into my new place.

Huh?

He immediately came over to ask me to help him monitor his wife coming to and leaving their home.

I said “I’m sorry I can’t help with that.”

Anytime I walked outside, he would stop me and begin rambling about how much he dislikes his wife and life.

Not my problem!

I’d just say “I’m sorry to hear that, I have to get going though.”

His wife left to live in a women’s shelter and passed away of a heart attack, at least that’s what he told me unprompted, and then showed me a photo of his wife’s body in a casket, again unprompted.

I just told him “I’m sorry for your loss.”

Dude…this is weird…

After that, he began sitting on my front porch waiting for me to get home so he could complain about his life and would ask me to help him figure out how to use dating apps, because he could barely send a text.

Anytime he opened his phone it blared inappropriate content.

I’d say “I don’t have time to do that.” And he’d press, once putting his foot in the doorway to prevent it from closing. To which I told him “You’ll have to find someone else to help”.

He then started regularly banging on my door, yelling my name from outside the house, for fifteen minutes at a time. I came to the door once to ask him to stop and he shoved his phone in my face with a picture of him naked holding his private parts.

He started on a long rant about some woman turned out to be a man, he sent them those pictures but doesn’t know how to delete them. I just told him “There’s nothing I can do to help.”

From that point on, I began ignoring his existence, ignoring his yells, ignoring his knocking on the door.

This guy has some serious problems.

This has made him mad now he will scream “GO TO HELL” and throw sticks at the roof and outside walls. I ignore it.

However, the other day he saw me walking my dog and decided he wanted to come at me threatening and loud to try and scare me.

He came around and went “HEEEEY HOW ARE YOOUU? BECAUSE I’M FINE AND DANDY.” Super sarcastically.

I just gave him a squinty face and said “Good” while I kept walking.

I’m good at not showing emotions and not giving assholes what they want, but I am kind of seething with rage.

I’ve never been anything but cordial and polite while being stopped and interrupted to listen to him rant. This man showed me his unsolicited naked photos, harassed me in my own home and now wants to intentionally make me feel threatened and unsafe and I’m sure in his messed up mind he thinks he’s in the right, and sees nothing wrong with anything he’s ever done.

This could potentially be a dangerous situation.

The cops will not do anything but give him a “stern talk.”

This has enraged me beyond belief. He deserves consequences for being so awful. I want to scream and yell.

I want HIM to know how it is to feel unsafe in your own home.

I’ve considered simply screeching and thrashing while yelling “SCREW YOU” and foaming at the mouth if he tries to speak to me again.

That may not be the best course of action but I’m so angry.

I plan on moving but my lease isn’t up for another six months and I’m just really upset and unsure of what to do.”
