An Upstairs Bed Bug Infestation Spread Down to Her Apartment—On Top of Their Constant Noise

Sure, we’ve all had bad neighbors before

But to truly consider someone to be a Neighbor From Hell, well, that takes a look of work!

And a lot of aggravation, headaches, heartache, etc.

You gotta be the full package!

The woman who wrote this story is pretty peeved at her upstairs neighbors and she let it all out.

Check out what she had to say about this.

Upstairs neighbors from Hell.

“My upstairs neighbors did not disclose a bed bug infestation to our management company. The infestation paid me a visit downstairs.

I only knew they had them because they got so loud, I heard every single footstep and running all the time. It was so loud it sounded like construction and hammers. I got it on video and management was concerned and came over to see if it was a building structure issue.

I asked the neighbors why things got so loud all of a sudden (after they dodged me quite a few times), at first they lied but when I confronted again, the mom told me the truth.

Why would you lie about this…?

She said they threw out all their rugs and carpets due to bed bugs.

We live in a prewar New York City building with original wood floors. Our lease even says you have to have rugs and carpets cover 80% of the floor.

These  people also have five people in a one bedroom apartment. So I am being waken up by three children running around at 3 am, and yay I get to wake up just in time to notice new bites!

This sounds like a nightmare.

Oh and the best part of it all: They haven’t paid rent in over a year and they are actively fighting the nonpayment petition. They stated in the petition that the management company wasn’t providing suitable conditions.

And yet when I went to the management company to tell them the unit above me also has bed bugs (they even showed me pictures), and the unit also made it sound like a bad infestation, management had no idea and said they were hearing about this for the first time.

They also told me the unit is so uncooperative and they may not let management’s exterminators in to treat. So pretty much they’re living rent free, and I’m paying rent to live in HELL.

What a way to live…

I am waiting for the day where the locks change and they get out of here. I just feel bad for the kids….I walk around everyday in Sony noise canceling headphones.

I’ve had to take out piercings because the headphones irritate them.I noticed my first bites the first week of June and I’m still being bitten because their apartment is untreated.

I have friends in the building who are bed bug free so I don’t think it’s a building wide infestation.

I’ve canceled trips so I don’t spread them. I am living in hell. I never felt more awful in my entire life. No sleep, no peace, just misery and living out of garbage bags.

I’m done with this.”

And this individual spoke up.

Her situation sounds BRUTAL.

I’d be losing my mind if I were her!

She’s gotta figure something out here…

These neighbors are seriously disturbed!
