The narc smile … they all have it, watch for it.

My 55-year-old female toxic jerk covert narc boss not only has the fake sweet sugary voice and the bright smile to appear friendly.

I mean she walks around like she’s Mother Theresa.

Yet there are multiple bullying complaints against her that bewilder her.

She really thinks she’s fair and kind and nice and a great manager. She lives in fairy land.

This employee shares that narcissists have a special, distinctive smirk.

She has no idea why people were “fabricating stories” about her (lol).

But every now and then, her mask slips. When someone is hurt or upset, she can’t help herself. A tiny condescending smirk will flash over her face

I’ve seen it a few times now, and it just confirmed to me that she is a real narc.

It’s sometimes done deliberately to unsettle people.

She advises watching for these smirks.

But I really believe some narcs don’t know they are narcs (like my boss).

Which makes the smirk even more unsettling as it seems to happen subconsciously.

They are enjoying the pain they cause!

Having a narcissistic boss in the office can make any employee feel uncomfortable. I think OP was very attentive to notice that distinctive smirk. But facial expressions alone aren’t always enough to judge someone’s intentions.
