We need rules to live in a civilized society.

I get that, but would you agree that some rules are just too much?

Sure, you would!

I think everyone feels that way about some set of rules they have to deal with.

The guy you’re about to hear from is sick and tired of the regulations he must follow in his town in Pennsylvania and he’s OVER IT.

Take a look at what he had to say about this.

Borough ordinances.

“In Pennsylvania, we have an almost “universal” code across all townships, boroughs, cities, etc., that is borderline as bad as HOA rules.

This sounds aggravating…

I have both experienced being borderline harassed by my neighbor who is the mayor of my town using these “laws”, and have witnessed crybaby Karens complaining that their neighbors house looks “junky”.

How or where or when did it become acceptable to tell another person, who owns/rents their house, what to do with it.

I could not care less if my neighbors grass is 10 inches, if they don’t shovel their sidewalk, or if they have junk cars on their property.

Everyone uses the excuse that it affects their property value, and most of these winers are people who are gonna pass away in their home anyways so it has ZERO real effect on them, if that case is even borderline true.

I watch councils and officials who we elect cater to a handful of people who think a town should “look nice”.

If you wanted the whole town you should’ve BOUGHT IT.

I have no idea what needs to happen to end this thought process from people who have nothing better in life to do than see what neighbors are doing with their home- but we need to come up with something.

These laws should be in use for extreme cases, where health and safety can be PROVEN to be at stake.

Not when there are weeds growing out from your fence and I don’t like it.”
