We all encounter people in our lives who like to cause problems and be difficult just for the hell of it.

In some weird, twisted way, they get a kick out of screwing with other people just to waste time.

And if you happen to be on the receiving end of that behavior, you know that it can be quite annoying!

In this story, a woman talked about a neighbor of hers who definitely fits into this category.

“I’ve vented about this neighbor before.

Now that the downstairs neighbor who was smoking is gone, it seems like she and her son need something else to be mad at. I know that no matter what I do she’s going to find a reason to dislike me.

Management is useless.

I have a tiny note (a post-it note) on the window with my number on it so delivery drivers can call, because the door is locked. It kept happening so I put a bunch of glitter in one so she’d get glitter bombed if she removed it.

That seemed to work.

The sign was left alone for a few months. There have been NO interactions with her at all.

This is so dumb…

Last night came home from work and the sign was gone. I put a new one up.

Today came home and it was ripped off again. No one is in the office on the weekends, so I know it’s her.

All it says is to call my phone number if we have a delivery. My partner gets frequent packages for their work, so a PO Box isn’t really practical.

She’s doing it just to be a jerk!

We’re not letting anyone in the building. We’re not giving out other numbers. There is no practical reason for her to keep doing this. It’s so petty and stupid and I don’t know what to do.

This woman needs a hobby. If I attempt to talk to her at all, I get screamed at and accused of harassing her. I have repeatedly asked for mediation from the manager.
