Neighbors should respect each other’s privacy and property.

In this story, a woman discovered that her neighbor had entered her property to inspect and report junk in the driveway.

Her family had been cleaning up while dealing with a difficult period, and the mess was already being addressed.

Nosy neighbor filed report

Nosy neighbor trespassed on our property. We rent from my grandma.

Not only that, she filed a report on the junk in our driveway.

We have a fence in between, and our house already looks like garbage because it’s so old.

We were getting rid of garbage and stuff. We can’t throw a lot of the stuff in the regular garbage.

This woman assured that one couldn’t see the mess from the outside.

I get that it’s not pretty to look at and it’s been there a while, but she literally can’t see it.

Our driveway’s long, so you can’t really see it as is.

She went into our backyard simply to get a good look and file a report.

I guess I understand wanting your neighborhood to look nice.

But I also believe that if you own a property, you should be able to do what you want with it.

She knew that her neighbor was aware of what took them so long to clean up their backyard.

Not only that, but we’ve been cleaning up the backyard, too.

She can see the transition and that we’re cleaning up, as well as the reason it’s been here for so long.

Because my grandpa has been in and out of the hospital and just passed away.

This lady has always been a nosy Karen and annoys me.

They never complained about the neighbor, even if she had property issues, too.

Also, her sump pump runs into our property, too, yet we haven’t complained.

The only time we’ve complained is when her stupid bush right next to our driveway grew so big.

She wouldn’t trim it. We couldn’t see down the road and had to pull super far out to see. Literal hazard.

Anyway, just wanted to complain because this retired old hag can’t mind her own business.

Whoa! Filing a complaint is one thing, but trespassing just to get a better look at someone’s property is a different story.

OP and her family were already cleaning up, so the neighbor could have simply minded her own business instead of investigating.

The hypocrisy over the sump pump and overgrown bush makes the situation even more frustrating.
