When you tour an apartment and it’s eerily quiet, it’s usually the set-up for a bait and switch.
One couple settled into their first place together expecting the quiet environment they saw on the tour, only to get stomping, banging, and a loud pitbull instead. That was already enough to keep them on edge.
Then came the main event: their upstairs neighbors’ full-volume screaming match over infidelity, loud enough to make them consider calling the police out of genuine concern.
A few hours later, the same couple was outside kissing and hugging like nothing happened.

I think my upstairs neighbors are angry elephants
My boyfriend and I moved into this cute little quadplex, no pets allowed, our first place together.
It was quiet as a mouse when we toured the place.
One day, this all changed.
But since we moved in, our upstairs neighbors have not only been obnoxiously loud and inconsiderate through every day and night (dropping heavy things on the floor constantly, sudden bangs that are so loud it startles you through noise canceling headphones, etc.), but they have a really loud pitbull, so we’re both already on edge quite often.
Soon, the chaos intensified.
Yesterday, they actually took us straight to the lowest level of ****, because the girl found out her boyfriend was cheating on her.
Not sure how she didn’t see it coming, seeing as he walks around with his pants around his knees basically and comes and goes through the night, which we see on our Ring camera.
She was screaming loudly for like an hour.
We couldn’t hear all of it, but we did hear her clearly screaming and crying about him not being loyal, among a few other things.
This wasn’t just a routine fight.
She was audibly throwing things around and possibly breaking things, to the point where we almost called the cops to make sure she wasn’t really hurting him, until we saw them on the Ring outside and very much both alive.
I did genuinely feel bad for her until a few hours later they were outside kissing and hugging lmao.
Back to the usual stomping, dropping their bowling ball collection, and howling, I guess.
What an absolute saga.

Living on a lower floor shouldn’t sound like a fully operational bowling alley, or a couples therapist’s office but here we are.
This couple has shown just how chaotic they can really be. If they want to live their lives that way, then fine, but they shouldn’t make their innocent downstairs neighbors suffer.
Nothing says “welcome to your first apartment together” quite like a screaming match loud enough to trigger a wellness check.
