Folks, I’m gonna drop some serious life knowledge on you right this instant

Don’t ever assume that a woman is pregnant.

Unless you’re 100000% certain, just keep your mouth shut…

Or you might find yourself in hot water!

The woman who wrote this story got pretty ticked off when a customer made a comment to her that wasn’t a great idea.

Take a look at what happened!

AITA for responding to a customer somewhat rudely?

“About a year and a half ago, there was a black woman (this will come into play) who was pregnant and used to work with me. She wound up having her daughter, briefly returning to work before leaving.

Now, for the story: The other day a semi regular customer came into the store and asked me, “Oh, did you have the baby yet?”

I was taken aback by his question and felt insulted.

This is kind of a weird reaction…

In response, I snarkily said, “No not me….she was black.”

The customer called me a jerk under his breath and said I shouldn’t have been that rude to him.

I don’t know if I was being too sensitive to his question, but I have always been self conscious about my weight.

She thinks he should’ve known better.

I thought he was incredibly rude to assume that I was the one who was pregnant.

Being a semi regular he should’ve realized that I was not pregnant.

And he called me a jerk after correcting him about the woman who was pregnant’s race.

She gives more context about her weight.

I don’t believe I do look pregnant or post pregnant.

I’m 5’4.5” and 145 lbs.

I have been at this weight for at least 2 years.

Don’t make comments like this!

Because there’s a good chance you’re gonna get in trouble!

She took this whole thing really personally, no doubt about that…
