Folks…this is an alarming situation.
A lot of the stories we see on here are folks making complaints about neighbors that are certainly disruptive, but not dangerous…
But this story sounds like it could potentially fall into the latter category…
The young woman who wrote it is justifiably scared of her neighbor and his disturbing behavior seems to be escalating.
Take a look at what she had to say about what’s happening.
Neighbor claims he’s hearing noises from my apartment.
“I, 27F, live with my mom and two sisters and were all adults. Above our unit lives 3 adult men who are all special needs and live as roommates.
They’re part of a program that helps them find housing and I guess they pair them off but they live pretty normal lives. Not all of them work but the guy I’m going to be talking about does.
I know that cause I’ve seen him in his work uniform in passing. With that, I want to say we have never interacted with him or even see him much, don’t know his name or anything. But we know what he looks like because in passing you notice people that live around you.
Okay, that’s weird…
Around 4 to 5 months ago this particular neighbor came down and left about 5 DVDs on our doorstep and then walked away. They were all like random children’s movies but he didn’t say anything just left them and walked away.
We asked someone we know that works for the program he’s part of for special needs why he did that and she said he just felt like we would like to have them…
Ok, weird, but we got over it and moved on as the person told us he was harmless.
Then comes about a month or two later he comes to our door again and knocks this time. I don’t think we heard the knock cause we didn’t open the door but we were home.
This is all very bizarre…
The door camera records him saying the following: “Hello, I’m coming because I heard something like my name being called, plus the word “kill. I just wanted to see why that is or if that was right… okay, bye” and then he leaves.
When we watched this video me and family were so confused and freaked out! We don’t even know his name so we couldn’t even be calling it nor were we watching a movie or even being loud.
Again we send the video to the person that works with him and she said to not worry and that he just gets nervous sometimes and that she was.gonna talk to him. We passed it off cause this guy is autistic and we didn’t wanna stress him out anymore.
Then comes today.
This situation was escalating.
3 out of 4 of us were gone and the only one in the apartment was my younger sister. Around 6 pm he comes to the door looks straight at the camera then looks around and tries to open our door.
Luckily it was locked and he walks away then he comes back like 10 seconds later and tries the knob again then walks away. We got the notification on our phones and immediately called my sister to tell her not to open the door is anyone knocks and to be aware.
We then again send the video to the lady asking her to ask him why he’s trying to open our door.
Oh, hell no!
She calls us and told us that he said he hears noises and wants to follow those noises to see where there coming from?!?!
We decided to make a police report to just for our safety but now me and my family are now freaking out cause what the heck!
