When someone is bullying you at school, you have every right to fight back in whatever way you can.

What would you do if your bully demanded that you give them a pen for a test and threatened you if you refused?

That is what happened to the young man in this story, so he handed over a pen that he bought with disappearing ink. After school, he started to feel bad about it since it could have made his bully fail an important test.

I, M16, have had a history of bullying all my life moving from school to school and finally found a place where all I needed to do was take my final exams so that I can go to college.

Dealing with a bully can be very difficult.

Since December, I’ve been getting grief from this bully. I guess I’ll call them H. H (16F) is the definition of that girl in school. She’s pretty, decent grades and popular in our year.

I try to ignore her as much as I can, but recently in the last few months she’s been coming for me for whatever reason she can come up with, making up rumours and just being a bully.

This must be awful.

Saying I walk weird, calling me a goat because my eyes are further apart and asked out one of her friends and stalked her when she said no.

I’ve tried bringing the issues up with school but teachers are useless. Nothing ever gets sorted and sometimes get worse.

Why won’t the school stop this type of thing?

It’s gotten to the point where it’s extremely embarrassing whenever I’m walking down corridors to lessons without hearing some kid shout slurs at me or bleeting like a goat.

So, yesterday we had our math exam and we bumped into each other whilst waiting at the lockers. She basically said “give me a pen or I’ll do this.”

Oh, I can see where this is going, and I love it.

Obviously, I didn’t want to do it but, I decided to go with it as to not give her a reason to bring me down any lower than I am.

I had ordered a set of pens a couple weeks ago that has this ink that disappeared after 24 hours. I’m really into Sherlock Holmes, mysteries and stuff like that, so it seemed like a good idea to leave notes round the school with “nothing” on them.

No, he did nothing wrong. And it was very funny.

So, I decide to give her one of my pens with the ink. Fast forward 3 hours later and I’m at home thinking about my actions.

The adrenaline from earlier has worn off, so I’m feeling incredibly guilty for giving her the pen but, I remember all the things she’s done so I don’t feel bad?

There are many ways to justify what he did, but the bottom line is that fighting back (even in a small way) against a bully is never a bad thing. And in this case, it was really funny. I wish we knew what, if any, fallout there was from what happened.
