I don’t know why this is a pet peeve of mine, but it just is…

I’m talking about people who take days and days to put their trash cans back after the garbage truck rolls around once a week and empties them.

It makes the whole block look trashy and beat up…

And, if you couldn’t tell, I have a neighbor who does this on a regular basis.

It’s so lazy!

Neighbor keeps putting their garbage cans in front of my house.

“I live in the circle part of a dead end/cul-de-sac.

On garbage day, everyone used to just put their garbage cans in front of their houses and bring them in once they were emptied. Recently, my neighbor had her daughter and her boyfriend move in.

Hmmm…

Their driveway is not big enough to hold all three of their cars, so they park in front of their house now. The problem is, as the title would suggest, they are putting their garbage cans in front of my house the night before garbage day, right next to mine.

Now, every garbage day, I make sure to bring in my cans in as soon as humanly possible after the truck comes by and empties them, usually when I get home from work.

But my neighbor does not.

This is so rude.

They leave them out there sometimes for days at a time, and it makes me look like a lazy jerk who doesn’t bring his cans back in.

I know, I know. First world white people problems, but it irks me.

Should I just stop being a little baby about it and get over it?

He needs to tell his neighbors to take care of their garbage cans or find another place to put them.
