I wouldn’t say I always “Love thy neighbor,” but I make a point to be friendly even if they irritate me.
But read why even good manners can’t help turn your neighbors into someone you can tolerate.
always a problem
My husband and I moved into a house almost a year ago on a lane where all the houses are pretty close together.
We are pretty good friends with everyone near us, except this one family.
I’m constantly running out if my dog even barks once exactly for this reason.
The parking situation has always been an issue from the get go with them. They do not tend to their property. It’s constantly overgrown and there is trash everywhere in their yard.
It’s one of those houses you tell people definitely isn’t yours when you’re describing where you live.
They have a dog who tends to come outside and rile our dogs up.
If ours start barking my husband or I will go get them inside immediately because they are hound dogs and have loud barks.
Yikes. If I overheard the neighbors say this, I’d be horrified!
Tonight, our dogs were out and they let theirs out.
I heard them very clearly say they were “Going to put a bullet in those dogs.”
I would like to make it known that I at least heard them say this because if anything happens to the dogs it will get ugly up here and now i’m just anxious they’ll harm them.
What would you do?
Here is what people are talking about.
I doubt any report will work until something horrible has already happened.
Chances are, it will be a mess!
Not sure how you could pick up poisoning, especially at night.

I’d definitely tell my neighbors. How awful.
Residents are super irritated that their neighbor’s dog keeps egging theirs on and now scared after a threat of poisoning.
