Having a newborn baby comes with regular crying in the middle of the night.

My husband and I recently had a baby, and I feel so bad for my next-door neighbor.

We were living in an apartment where the bedrooms were on opposite sides of the floor plan.

But we had to move from those due to moving cities so that we could be closer to family after having our beautiful daughter.

We got an apartment where the floor plans mirror each other, meaning the bedrooms share the same wall.

This woman’s baby regularly cries before bedtime and in the early morning.

When we first toured them, I didn’t even think about it until the first night we stayed.

I heard our neighbor talking on the phone through the walls.

Now, every time my 2-month-old baby cries, usually at 11:00 pm before bedtime, I feel horrible about it.

I try my best to soothe her. The crying can go on 30 minutes, and sometimes, it gets horrible.

She also cries around 4 am to eat, but not bad and is easily soothed.

She knows she’s being a bad neighbor to people around her.

During the day, she doesn’t cry much.

And we are hardly ever in the room.

I guess I’d just like to see how you all would feel if I was your neighbor?
