A Store Owner Kept Giving Female Customers A Hard Time. One Woman Finally Snapped And Yelled At Him.

It’s hard to believe that in this day and age, some business owners still behave like it’s the 1950s.
What I mean is that they act like women are second-class citizens and that only men should be seen and heard.
It’s insane!
But we still do hear about jokers like this from time to time…
In today’s story, a woman explained how she called out a video game store owner who needs a serious attitude adjustment.
Check out what she had to say.
AITA for publicly calling out a shop owner for treating female customers differently?
“I (24, F) have been collecting Pokemon cards for about a year now. Nothing like big collecting but me and my friends love collecting cards and opening packs together.
Recently a little hobby store that sells Magic cards, Pokemon cards, anime figures and hosts tournaments opened a few minutes away from my apartment.
I loved ordering on their website because I could simply go pick them up directly when I am walking home from work and their online services were actually quite nice.
Which brings me to the main subject.
I come quite often to this store since my boyfriend does tournaments there now. And the owner that I will call “Nathan” is the one who takes care of pick up orders and packing orders.
This isn’t cool…
Nathan won’t stop laughing at women buyers and keeps calling them “the one who only collects cute Pokemons” or “you’re one of those collectors” and it kept happening for MONTHS.
If I come alone or with female friends, I/we get little to no respect and horrible service. But when I am with my boyfriend? He only speaks to my boyfriend and completely ignores me and doesn’t let me speak (my boyfriend defends me each time, he is amazing).
Yesterday, I went to pick up quite a large order that contained a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday so I came alone. I had a long day at work and had zero patience left in me so I was already on edge.
This guy doesn’t know how to run a business…or act like an adult.
And of course Nathan was there as always and rolled his eyes when he saw me. He then proceed to say out loud “Ugh, you again? Why is your boyfriend not there? He knows his stuff. You definitely don’t. Girls never do”
At that point I was SO sick of him that I called him a jerk for treating all women customers this way in front of everyone in the store.
He then proceed to call me names and banned me from the store. That action made a couple clients yell at him and leave the store as well.
Also I wasn’t able to pick up my order that day my boyfriend had to come pick it up the next day otherwise he wouldn’t let me enter the store.
I’m quite an anxious person so when I got home I got quite overwhelmed with the emotions and had to take a minute to calm down.
Was I in the wrong ?
The other employees are so nice and sweet…and even contacted me if I was ok and said I did the right thing so I don’t really know what to think?
Should I call to apologize?”

She needs to stop giving this guy one more cent of her money…
Because his attitude isn’t likely to change anytime soon!
This store owner sounds like a HUGE jerk.
